Grandma Conchita's orchard
In 1986, Grandma Conchita opened the gates of her orchard on the shores of the Mediterranean. Forty years on, the campsite is still just that: a garden of deep shade, gravel paths and bougainvillea, a stone's throw from the sea and right in the heart of Castell de Ferro.
There's no pool here: there's a gate that opens straight onto the beach. Today her grandson Miguel looks after it with the same atmosphere as ever, the regulars who come back every winter and the families discovering the campsite for the first time.
