Booking and cancellation policy

To confirm a booking, a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the stay must be paid into our bank account. Once the deposit has been received, Huerta Romero will validate the booking by sending the customer an email confirming that amount. The booking will not take effect until the campsite has confirmed receipt of the payment. If the deposit has not been received within 10 days, the booking will be considered void.

Camping (pitches and tent area)

• Pets are allowed, provided that breeds considered dangerous wear a muzzle.
• On arrival at the campsite, the full cost of the stay is paid, minus the deposit paid to secure the booking.
• Check-in: from 12:00 to 22:00.
• Check-out: before 14:00 on the agreed departure day.
• A booking guarantees a pitch without specifying its number; you may suggest your preferred location and we will do our best to oblige.
• Huerta Romero reserves the right to change the camping area without prior notice.

Accommodation (vintage caravans and wooden cabin)

• Pets are allowed.
• On arrival at the campsite, the full cost of the stay is paid, minus the deposit paid to secure the booking.
• Check-in: from 14:00 to 22:00.
• Check-out: before 14:00 on the agreed departure day.
• A booking guarantees a unit of accommodation.
• The price is for the number of people stated as the maximum occupancy of each unit and for one vehicle. Parking for an extra vehicle is charged at the seasonal rate, as are any visitors.
• The customer will leave a security deposit of €150 (cash or card) to cover any damage, breakage or deep cleaning the unit may require. This security deposit will be returned on departure day, once the condition of the accommodation and its inventory have been checked.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a booking, the campsite will apply the artículo 26 del Decreto 159/2012, de 20 de noviembre, de establecimientos de alojamiento turístico y de viviendas de uso turístico (DOGC de 5 de diciembre) (Article 26 of Decree 159/2012 of 20 November on tourist accommodation establishments and holiday-rental homes, published in the Official Gazette on 5 December).

Article 26. Cancellation of the booking:

1. The user has the right to cancel a confirmed booking without any penalty, provided this is done more than ten days before the arrival date, unless otherwise agreed.
2. A cancellation made by the user within the ten days before the arrival date gives rise to the following penalties, unless otherwise agreed:
   • a) If you give notice of the cancellation between 9 and 5 days before the arrival date of your booking: 50% of the booking deposit is refunded.
   • b) If you give notice of the cancellation between 4 and 1 day before the arrival date of your booking: the amount paid as the booking deposit is not refunded.

The above penalties do not apply when the cancellation is due to duly evidenced force majeure.

No-shows and late arrivals

A booking whose guests do not arrive on the expected day will be considered cancelled and, consequently, the booking deposit will not be returned. A late arrival will only be taken into account if it has been communicated 24 hours in advance. If no notice is given, the customer must pay for the days the pitch or accommodation has been kept unoccupied.
